What?
Dental check-ups at Kreate Dental
Regular dental check-ups for all the family can help keep your teeth and gums healthy for a lifetime.
Seeing your dentist here in Rugby on a regular basis enables your dentist to understand your lifestyle, keep track of your oral health, and take a preventative approach to your dental care.
Regular check-ups also help us reinforce good oral hygiene habits, detect any problems at the earliest signs, and discuss any treatments you may need.
What to expect at your dental check-up
When you visit us for a routine dental check-up at our Rugby practice, your dentist will examine your teeth, gums, and soft tissues, looking for any abnormalities like swelling and decay. They will also carry out an oral cancer screening for your complete peace of mind.
They may take some small X-rays, to make sure you have no other underlying problems with your teeth. Based on this assessment, our dental team may recommend a course of treatment. If so, they will explain their reasons for this, discuss the treatment options available and talk you through our range of finance options to ensure the dental care your need is affordable.
Dental care for the whole family
Prevention is so much better than a cure when it comes to looking after your dental health, and we encourage families to bring their children into our Rugby practice for regular check-ups from a young age. That way, we can keep track of their dental development and oral health, while helping children get used to visiting us.
From in-chair movies and Sonos speakers for music streaming, to that all-important ride in the dentist’s chair and a friendly, welcoming team, we aim to make a visit to the dentist a fun, comfortable experience here at Kreate Dental.
Mouth cancer screening at Kreate Dental
Mouth cancer can occur in any part of the mouth and can have serious consequences if left undetected. A mouth cancer screening at your dental check-up at Kreate Dental Rugby includes a detailed analysis of your oral health history, a thorough examination of your mouth, and a detailed scan for any lumps or lesions.
It’s a very simple assessment to help us detect any early signs of concern and if we do find anything that needs further investigation, we will refer you to a specialist.

How often should I have a dental check-up?
To maintain good oral health, you should have a dental check-up every 6 to 12 months. This enables your dentist to monitor your teeth and make sure we catch any issues early and hopefully avoid the need for bigger, more expensive treatments. We recommend our patients have a dental hygienist appointment every 12 months too, as this helps to keep your teeth and gums clean and free of plaque, which reduces infections and tooth decay.

We’re passionate about keeping high quality dental treatment affordable and are pleased to offer new patients an initial examination at our Rugby practice for £25. We provide children of new patients with a free check-up too, as we’re committed to looking after the dental health of the whole family.
Do you offer finance for dental treatment?
We know that dental treatment can seem expensive. That’s why we are pleased to offer a range of finance options designed to make it easier to budget for the essential care you require or the cosmetic treatment you would like.
