Dr Bizhan Shokouhi

I divide my time between working at Guy’s Hospital in London and in private practice providing surgical and implant treatment.

I have extensive experience and qualifications and have a Master’s degree in dental implantology with distinction. My training is not limited to the surgical field, but also includes aesthetic dentistry, sedation, and clinical hypnotherapy. Aside from my clinical work, I teach oral surgery to undergraduate and postgraduate dentists, and I am active in research, having published several papers in peer-reviewed journals. I have presented some of these at national and international conferences, for which I once won an award for in the US.

I love what I do and am known for being a particularly calm and non-stressy person. And along with a specific attention to being gentle, I think I am very good at putting all my patients at ease and building trust with each other quickly.

As much as I love my work, I think a balanced life is actually essential for working to your full potential, and I love being a dad and spending time with my family. I am also a bit of a geek and love anything to do with tech. When I am not busy with everything else, I love playing the piano.
